Islamia succeeds once again

In keeping with its legacy of outstanding performance, the percentage of learners who achieved Bachelors pass was 70%. Ten learners attained an A-aggregate while a total of 105 subject distinctions were achieved. The Top Achiever for Islamia Girls College was Salaama Maneveld (now studying of Computer Science at UCT) and for Islamia Boys College was Mohammed Dada (now studying Quantitative Finance and Management at UCT).

As Muslims, we believe that Islam is a complete way of life, providing a foundation and framework for all its aspects. No recreational (sporting) activity should ever take precedence over any obligation, nor should any muslim burden themselves with so many activities as to not allow any time for one’s religious obligation. At Islamia College our aim is to promote Islam, Education, Sports and Physical Activity which in that order is an essential aspect of a well balanced, enlightened, independent-thinking, empowered Muslim.
