The Rugby has been dreading this weekend opponents COLLEGIANS, but Islamia stood their ground at Lentegeur Sports Ground-Mitchell’s Plain. With all three teams not bringing home winning tries, they made it difficult for Collegians to put up the score. Our TOUCH RUGBY Girls defeated Harold Cressy at our home ground this Friday scoring 5 tries and the opposition scored 2 tries. Under 15-0 vs Collegians-13, Under 16-10 vs Collegians-19, Under 19-5 vs Collegians-25. Players of the week: Uzair Kamish(on field performance), Masood Du Toit (2 tries scored), Irshaad Kamish (1 trie scored).

While the juniors (Under 11′s, Under 12′s) were showing off their skills on the field at Chukker Rd Sports Ground, the Under 14′s, Under 15′s, Under 17 competed against Livingstone High School. It has been an exciting derby between the two school resulting in the best team winning at the end. Our girls team had a second try at scoring against Cedar High School but unfortunately only scored 2 and conceded 6. Under 14′s boys-2 vs Livingstone-3, Under 15′s boys-2 vs Livingstone-1, Under 17′s-2 vs Livingstone-4.This week brought us games in which we could build on for next week Inshallah. Player of the week-U14′s Tashreeq Hendricks, U15′s Zubayr Shabodien/Umar Mohamed, U17′s Abdullah Isaacs, U16′s S.Adams.
